Our one and only summer vacation has already come to a close. We met my parents and Matt and Danielle at Yosemite. Our drive took us over Tioga Pass. There were a few of these high mountain lakes that were so beautiful. We even saw a coyote crossing the street.

We can finally see Yosemite Valley--now we just have to drive down there. The roads were so narrow and so windy. I'm glad that Ryan is such a good driver.

Here we are, in this valley of meadows and pine trees, waterfalls and monstrous granite mountains. As Ryan said, driving in here was like "witnessing a miracle" of nature.

We parked our car and never turned it on again until it was time to go home. We rode our bikes everywhere! The kids had so much fun. Molly had just learned to ride her two-wheeler and she managed to keep up with everyone. I rode with Seth in a little baby seat on my bike. He thought it was the greatest thing in the world!

How fun you took your family. So...how long was the drive to actually get there? We keep debating the trip...but we both really want to take the boys.
