A few of us who had read the "Twilight" series decided to be brave and go see the movie on opening night, despite many warnings that we would be caught in the middle of a screaming teenage mob and forced to sit through some really bad acting. Anyhow, we had a blast! It was fun to feel young and be silly (although there was certainly no screaming coming from any of us mature women!) and though the movie was completely juvenile, I got a kick out of it.
Even better than the movie was.....the food! We had dinner at my friend Tami's house beforehand. She had the most beautiful decorations--candy chess pieces, red apples, red ribbon, fangs, blood red drinks--awesome! And all of the food was black and white too! Pomegranates, cranberry chicken, black and white rice, oreo cheesecake with berry sauce. I think we need to start coming up with more excuses for "Girl's Night Out!"
